What Composio does
Composio gives AI agents authenticated access to third-party app toolkits such as Slack, Gmail and GitHub through per-user sessions, and refreshes the underlying OAuth tokens itself. Each session is reachable from its TypeScript and Python SDKs and its CLI, or as a hosted MCP endpoint that any MCP client can connect to.
Why teams reach for it: Composio supplies the connector layer an agent is missing - more than 1,000 integrations whose OAuth it runs end to end, scoped per connector - and exposes exactly the same catalog two ways from one account: as native tools inside your own agent through the Python or TypeScript SDK, or as a hosted MCP endpoint that an agent you already run, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, can point at without a provider package.

How will tools receive safe access to external systems?
Credentials & connections tools manage how an MCP server safely accesses external systems, like databases or APIs, on a user's behalf.
